ReplyDeleteHe came across as reserved, almost an isolated man, someone who was plagued by a silent personal regret in life, but was not the sort to say so. He didn't strike me as someone who enjoyed idle conversation, but was more someone who took the direct approach in life as well as work and play. Squarely built, with a thick mane of hair and deeply searching brown eyes somehow his face seemed too serious for his young thirty years of age. And perhaps he was beyond his years, or indeed had the experience of a man beyond his own age, and so would account for his sombre expression.

ReplyDeleteOh, that's neat. I just started writing a few nights ago. I've been staying up late after the family is asleep, and I'm actually feeling pretty excited about it (the writing).
ReplyDeleteI just love the whole process of writing, one could say I'm almost addicted! Unfortunately, I never know when to leave well alone, and I have a habit of doing re-writes because I keep thinking this might sound better here, or that works better there. So I've got to learn to write, print and leave!!!! Writing is a wonderful passion, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do :-)
